SALE - Four Bandits Handmade, Antibacterial soap REDUCED TO CLEAR

I while ago I was asked if soap could be made with 'Four Thieves oil'...this got me thinking....and the answer is YES, it can!! 

Four thieves oil blend is believed to have originated from thieves during the 15th century. According to popular theory, the concoction was created by a group of four thieves and grave robbers to protect themselves from contracting the plague while robbing the bodies of the gravely ill and deceased. When apprehended, the thieves admitted to using the formula and disclosed the recipe in order to receive a less severe punishment for their crimes.

Whether or not this story is true, the essential oils in this blend are antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-infectious. They are reputed to stimulate the immune system, circulation and respiratory system, and help protect against the flu, colds, bronchitis, pneumonia, sore throats, cuts, and more. Modern testing has shown the effectiveness of this blend and studies have found it to have a high kill rate against airborne bacteria.

I have chosen some extra special addittions to compliment our favourite blend of plant oils and butters to boost the antibacterial properties of the essential oils, including rosehip seed powder which give a slight gritty feel, and a lovely scrub helping get a deep down clean as well as being slightly antiseptic.

There is also lashings of purifying Bentonite Clay, again to help get a really good clean, this is slightly astringent yet very gentle on the skin. I have also swirled a delicate twist of gold mica, a natural mineral colourant, to represent the theives 'booty'.

Each bar is hand cut and wrapped and will be a minimum of 100g.
